When I first sampled one of Tara’s vegan chocolate chip cookies, I honestly almost dropped the cookie because it was so shockingly delightful. It tasted as if loaded with gluten, a lovely subtle crunch on the outside that gave way to a gooey and sweet chewy inside. Each bite contained a fragrant hint of coconut umami to balance the slightly bitter chocolate and sweet sugar, resulting in a delicious taste trifecta. I am admittedly a terrible baker, clumsy with the rolling pin and inept at measuring ingredients. But Tara’s vegan and gluten free chocolate chip cookie flour blend may be perhaps the only motivation for me to roll up my sleeves, dust off my mixer, and start baking!
